Inspiring Inquiry Through Innovative Learning
Creative Inspiration Journey School (CIJS) was founded with the mission to provide a groundbreaking, organized Reggio-inspired approach that offered interdisciplinary learning, through project-based experiences. The goal was to differentiate and enhance instruction through “gifted teaching methods” that prepared every student for success in school and life. The curriculum featured environmental responsibility through an agricultural component and reliance on repurposed materials while promising to value compassion, mutual respect, creative and critical thinking, and collaboration, while recognizing the relevance of our actions locally, nationally and globally.
Our Philosophy
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, our schools provide a holistic learning environment where children can thrive. We believe in a collaborative, child-led curriculum that emphasizes respect, community, and social responsibility.
Our approach nurtures curiosity and creativity through guided self-discovery. We encourage students to be resourceful and to co-construct knowledge with their peers and teachers. Our goal is to foster growth in all developmental areas—social, physical, cognitive, and emotional—so that children become lifelong learners.
