Additional Information

  1. Creative Inspiration Journey School (CIJS) requires all persons authorized to pick a Scholar up from school to be listed on the Scholar's account.  CIJS requires one person listed on the account to be available within a reasonable time (not to exceed a total of 2 hours) in case of medical emergencies or illness. It is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to properly fill out all forms and make changes whenever necessary.

  2. Parents/Guardians of Scholars with custody agreements, takes sole responsibility to ensure this is in accordance with their court agreement when dropping them off at school. CIJS is not responsible for maintaining compliance on any custody agreement or parent time-sharing agreements. CIJS only accepts responsibility ensuring that any person picking up a Scholar is authorized according to the pickup list.  If a Parent/Guardian not listed on the Scholar's account, and believes they should be, must provide a copy of legal documents to correct the account. The Pick-up Permission form will be updated and certified annually.

  3. Any person without a dismissal card will be directed to the front office to validate authorization and be issued a temporary dismissal card. They will be required to reenter the carline afterwards.

Inclement Weather

  1. Creative Inspiration Journey School (CIJS) will delay or halt dismissal during inclement weather as determined by CIJS administration. Normal causes for delay or halting are lightning within the immediate area and/or heavy rain.

  2. CIJS tries to get it right, but because it’s Florida and Meteorology is the one science allowed to be wrong 90% of the time, sometimes it will rain during dismissal. Please note that we are allowed to continue dismissal in the rain. We encourage all students to come to school with either a poncho or umbrella.
